ACCIONA receives the ORP 2008 International Award in recognition of its exemplary workplace health and safety management system

ACCIONA expands its presence in Canada with a contract for a 30 MW wind farm, to be equipped with 20 ACCIONA Windpower-designed wind turbine generators.
ACCIONA increases EBITDA by 164% to 636 million euros. Attributable net profit grew 9.5% to 154 million euros.
ACCIONA Windpower and Portugal's EDP Renoveis reach an agreement for the supply of over three years of wind turbine generators with a total capacity of 782 MW. The contract envisages the supply of 382.5 MW in 2009-2011, with the possibility of an additional 400 MW. The wind turbine generators, which will have unit capacities of either 1.5 MW or 3 MW, will be used in wind farms in North America and Europe.
ACCIONA receives the ORP 2008 International Award in recognition of its exemplary workplace health and safety management system. The award was presented at the ORP 2008 VI International Conference on Occupational Risk Prevention.
