• ACCIONA Agua inaugurates a waste water treatment plant in Bulgaria with a capacity to treat 52,000 cubic metres of water per day from the city of Pazardjik, located 100 kilometres south-east.

• ACCIONA triples its EBITDA to 2.1 billion euros. Net profit amounted to 413 million euros, 2.8% more than in the same period of 2007 and revenues expanded 89.4% to 9.353 billion euros capital expenditure increased 75% to 1.937 billion euros.

• The UN registers two of ACCIONA’s  wind farms in India as Clean Development  Mechanism projects.
